Consider asking for a room overlooking the pub's garden for a quieter experience, away from the bar noise.

The White Hart exudes charm with its historic decor and welcoming ambiance. Accessible pathways and attentive staff made navigating the hotel easy, truly considering the needs of seniors, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

the white hart is a great spot for a family getaway. the new rooms are modern and inviting, unlike our dated family room. breakfast was lovely, and the staff were super helpful. i especially appreciated the complimentary fresh water they offered!

Great stay for a wedding!

We were really surprised by how nice everything was. The staff was super friendly, and our room was comfy with a nice layout—loved the shabby chic vibe! The pub downstairs added a lively atmosphere and the breakfast was well worth it, but the shower could’ve been a bit cleaner.

The staff were really friendly and cute from the moment I walked in- it felt like they weren't just doing their job but genuinely cared about making my stay good. The food was really good, had the 'cheesy chicken' for dinner and it was out of this world- just what I needed after a long day.

It was just a strong match for getting around the area in Whitchurch with outstanding value for money. The shower was nice and hot, and the bed was surprisingly comfy. Make sure to check the food opening times before arriving.

We had such a cozy night in our Economy Double Room, and the food at the pub was a pleasant surprise, especially the hearty burgers and crispy calamari. The lovely garden area was perfect for sipping on drinks while enjoying the fresh air, and there was even a charming little spot with benches to relax. Only downside was a bit of noise from the pub, but it didn't ruin our stay. Definitely try the food here! 🍔

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family room, although a bit dated, had enough space for all of us, and the breakfast every morning was delicious. We also found the location convenient for a day out at the nearby Basingstoke Golf Club, which was a hit with our kids.

In my wife’s opinion, the cleanliness could be improved for families with children.

Cozy stay with a fab pie!

Had a nice little stay here while visiting the distillery nearby. The staff were super friendly and helped us out with local bus info, which was a lifesaver! The pie for dinner was honestly one of the best dishes I've had. Just a shame the bed felt a bit worn out, made for a rough night's sleep.
